2.0 software

Any chance of creating the ability in new software release(s) that allow screens to hold their values in a shutdown?  Primarily holding column sizes.  Every time I shut down then boot up the next time I have to resize (shrink) all of the left side columns and expand the far right label column so I can see full que labels.

  • I agree this would be nice.  I actually think it would make sense to follow the show file as Cue labels change in length.  Also some show I am concerned with when effects run, other shows I can shrink that column to make room for something else, but it is always on a show by show basis.

  • I agree that keeping column widths would be nice through boot-up, but there is a current (easy) solution: snapshot.

Change your column sizes.  Record [Soft Key] Snapshot 1 / Display Enter.

This will resize your playback columns, and your tombstones will zoom in/out, as needed.

There is one bug with this: having re-sized columns on the single playback line under the channel screen, going to blind and back to live will reset the column widths.  activating the snapshot will restore column widths again.

I'd like to see the option of moving playback columns (Beam Time next to Focus time, hiding Colour time), closing Link, Loop, Rate etc.  It was mentioned in an early update, but I don't think fully implimented.

  • It would be really great if we could keep column widths through boot ups but that would require changes in the settings code. It should resume at it happens when we return from stand by mode.
