EOS 2.0 OLE running slow

i have been running 2.0 on all Eos Family desks for quite some time now and have noticed nothing like you describe. if you open a showfile and open a magic sheet for the first time and those magic sheets contain lots of big graphics, you would notice that the MS tab takes one or maybe two seconds to load. but as soon as the tab is there, there is no delay anymore.

it sounds more like a hardware issue or rights related problem with your computer?

Like ueliriegg I have been on 2.0 for quite a while and haven't seen the sluggishness you describe. Is it possible you have some other CPU or I/O hogging application running on your PC? I know when I have something disk intensive running on my laptop that response from other applications gets sluggish.

Thanks. With the talk around our theater and your response the problem appears to be desktop machine.

With the PC just opening Magic Sheet tab is stupid slow. Now with the Mac OLE is running smooth.

Still on the fence with installing 2.0 into the light desk though. I'm sure I'll come around :)

if you have a day without a show in your venue, why don't you just give it a go and install? it's really easy to downgrade again. which i'm sure you won't need to do ;)

Ok.

So apparently I have not been running OLE as ADMIN.  Doh!

Right click icon for sub menu and select Run as Admin does the trick. Boot time is almost instant and the lag is completly gone.
