Live tab won't close

hm, i don't think that's the way it should be... maybe safe logs in case ETC want to have a look at them and then i would do a deep clear from the maintenance tab in the shell. just make sure, that you have safed your loaded show.

A deep clear is a good idea.  We've heard rumor about this but have not been able to track it down.

I've confirmed that a deep clear will fix that issue. At one point I had 4 live tabs.

We would still like to get the showfiles from these instances.

Update time ...

I haven't been involved with this particular show since Monday, so haven't had a chance to look into this further until this morning.

I've just powered up the console to do a bit more investigation into the issue, and lo and behold, a quick Shift-Escape closed the errant Tab 7. I know the console hasn't had a deep clear in the intervening time - the only thing of any note since Monday's oddity is a power cycle each night. At any rate, the previously-persistent tab has now happily gone away.

I can still send you a copy of the show file, Anne, if that's any use?
