Mimo Monitors and the ION

Howdy All,

I just got a couple of little USB connected touchscreens from MIMO monitors. I'm having a blast playing with the OLE for EOS 2.0.0 and the magic sheets with them. Any idea on how one might be able to connect them to the ION using USB? Am I barking up a completely inaccessible tree here? They run DisplayLink drivers. I figure I might need to load the drivers under the shell of the console...

Any thoughts out there?

You cannot, they are not supported by Ion.

I would suggest that you could run these touchscreens on a PC connected as a Client?

But as a client he won't be able to manipulate anything - or am I wrong here?

If he has the PC client dongle then he can control things. The PC client acts as another console on the network. Without the dongle, he can only watch in mirror mode.

And again I learned something new...

I thought with the dongle he would only be allowed to connect as another User and be able to "move" free in all Displays, not going to blind when I do on the MasterConsole and to select channels but NOT to programm stuff...
