Has anyone else had issues connecting there iRFR app to the console after updating to 2.0.0.9.0.149? I used both my iPhone and iPad and neither would reconnect. If anyone has any comments i would love to here your ideas.

Someone more technical than I can give a more precise answer - but yes there is a lot more cross talk on the wireless network these days and with some configurations it chokes. There are certain kinds of data you need to filter out - and some routers dont have the correct options.
If your connection is strong but you can't connect or the connection is rare and SUPER slow try this :
1) Get yourself a cheap old school Airport Extreme off ebay. (I got one for $15)
2) Use the config file - password is lighting
3) Plug the desk into the WAN port of the router - NOT the LAN - the configurable WAN port is the magic.
4) Connect the iphone via DHCP
5) Hopefully Enjoy sweet sweet iphone remote connectivity
For me this setup has cured what has been months of frustration with the remote - Thank you Andrew Webberly. I'm in a large room right now with lots of interference, lots of lights and it works great.
This made me laugh.
I can build the config file for the newer Airport and Airport express units as well.
Just as a note this config will not allow you to have a laptop or other wireless client console. This works for the irfr and UDP remotes but blocks all the other traffic that bogs down the wireless side.
Thanks

What I did with the newest Airport Extreme was to go into the WAN port and set the internet (wan) to static and match the ip required based on ETC's list. I then set the router to DHCP and NAT and set the IP range to the one listed on the ETC IP sheet. The router may flag a double NAT as one of the lighting desks should have DHCP on. If it does, you just hit ignore and you should be good to go.
We are currently on 2.0 with no major issues. Sometimes there is a delay with what you type, but I don't lose connection.
