iRFR

Question

Has anyone else had issues connecting there iRFR app to the console after updating to 2.0.0.9.0.149? I used both my iPhone and iPad and neither would reconnect. If anyone has any comments i would love to here your ideas.

Someone more technical than I can give a more precise answer - but yes there is a lot more cross talk on the wireless network these days and with some configurations it chokes. There are certain kinds of data you need to filter out - and some routers dont have the correct options. 
 If your connection is strong but you can't connect or the connection is rare and SUPER slow try this : 
 1) Get yourself a cheap old school Airport Extreme off ebay. (I got one for $15) 
 2) Use the config file - password is lighting 
 3) Plug the desk into the WAN port of the router - NOT the LAN - the configurable WAN port is the magic. 
 4) Connect the iphone via DHCP 
 5) Hopefully Enjoy sweet sweet iphone remote connectivity 
 For me this setup has cured what has been months of frustration with the remote - Thank you Andrew Webberly. I'm in a large room right now with lots of interference, lots of lights and it works great.
