2.0 Upgrade

Recently loaded 2.0 on an Element. I have three items to discuss.

First magic sheets whacks out my touch screens. And I can only use a mouse after awhile. Is there some setting to change.

second, I notice the Element offline software especially at opening with CIS is for the rest of the EOS family. While the console software is pretty much the same layout. The manual also refers to a displays button, that isn't n element face panel, but is on others.

third, there are now these blank tabs to the bottom far left of the screen to the left of the soft keys. What are these  for?

  • Hi Robin,

I know we've replied to a few of these items in the Element forum, but to get the answers here as well:

    1. We haven't heard of any issues with touchscreens and magic sheets. It could be possible that the touchscreens are dropping offline, which would be reflected in the logs. What kind of touchscreens do you have connected?

    2. Running as administrator with the offline software will allow you to run as Element client - more information can be found in this post: http://community.etcconnect.com/forums/t/11520.aspx

    3. The blank tabs at the bottom are for other sets of softkeys -- you'll commonly see these get populated in the Patch screen with dimmer doubling softkeys.

    Thanks!
