Manual fade bug?

Hi there,

I'm not able to entirely reproduce what you're seeing -- whether I start the fade manually or intercept the fade manually, the fader appears to be following the fade until complete. I am seeing an oddity or two once the fade completes, depending on the position of the fader, but that doesn't sound like what you're describing.  Is there a particular sequence of steps that you're doing that might help us reproduce it here?

Hi there, I am also experiencing a similar problem, only since the v2 software update we put on about 2 weeks ago on our element desk.

i have been setting the particular show on submasters, and every now and again, not every time, but enough to be annoying, the slider just loses sync with the desk level and you have to backtrack to get it to the level again. I wondered if I had a faulty slider to start with, so moved to a different bank, but am still experiencing the same problem and also on the sub with our house lights on too.

Thanks for this! The specific issue you're describing is a known issue on the Element console -- we have beta code that helps to address this (see this forum post: http://community.etcconnect.com/forums/t/11721.aspx )

This does raise a good question though - I was assuming that the original post was talking about manual fades on a cue list, and not necessarily submasters. Kjems, would you be able to confirm? Is this on a submaster or cue list? Also, is this on a fader wing (even if a cue list)?
