Possible Operational Bug in ION 2.0

Just spent a little time playing on my rental board with 2.0 software.

Patched (5) Vivid 11 on channels 25-29, and (5) Mac 101 on channels 30-34.  Conventional dimmers 1-24 on channels 1-24.

Built a magic sheet with a simple layout of fixtures and a few movers, some color palletes, groups selects, etc.

When selecting channels 25-34 (the Vivids and Mac101s,) and trying to adjust parameters that exist only on 1 type (i.e. Pan/Tilt), the selection order of the channels appears to make a difference.  If I select 25 through 34, I cannot control Pan and Tilt on the Mac101s.  If I select 34 through 25 or 30 thru 34 + 25 thru 29 I can control pan and tilt.  I don't know if this is a bug, or a feature, but I thought I'd post it here and see what comes up.

I can post the show file if necessary.

Thanks.

  • I'll try to email a show file later this week if I can.

If not, I'll email it when I can.

As far as how I was trying to do the changes, it was via direct channel selection, running via physical encoders, though when I opened up virtual ML controls, and used the pan/tilt grid box, the fixtures did move.  I had the magic sheet open, but I don't recall selecting the fixtures via the magic sheet when I found this issue.

    Thanks.
