missing softkeys

nothing's wrong with your install, that's the way it is at the moment. the virtual keyboard reflects the design of the eos ti and if you want softkeys on a ti you would have to configure the empty ones as softkeys if you wish to use them. but i don't know of a way to reconfigure the buttons of the virtual keyboard...

So I lose functionality because I have an Ion and not a TI? 

I hope ETC is working on a fix for this before I get around to buying another Ion...

paul, what i don't understand is, what you you need to softkey on the virtual keyboard for? don't u get the softkeys on the bottom right hand side of the screen?

Are all the soft key functions available down there? If so I guess I'm okay ...

It's just that I like my virtual keyboard to look like the real keyboard when  working with students or  offline ...

It does, it just represents the keyboard of an Eos, not the Ion.  Drives me nuts as I've had to learn the layout of stuff 3 times in as many years as ETC changes it.  

i've never found any situation, when the on screen softkeys weren't what they were supposed to be. and you get the additional benefit of knowing what the button turns into when you'd press More SK.
