Our Gio has just been updated to run V.2.0.0. The last version we were runnning was the last release (I can't remember the number off the top of my head).
I loaded our current show and ran through a few of the cues to check everything was working fine. For some reason, all the presets I have recorded for the VL1000 AS were all being recalled slightly wrong. The pan information is slightly in the wrong position and some of the shuttering doesn't look quite right. This has affected both of the VL's we are using in this show in all of the presets, but not the TW1's we are using. I've updated all the presets to be correct and the show is now running fine. This wasn't a big job as we only have 2 VL's in the show. However if I was using a big rig this might have been more of a problem. I can't think of any reason why this would of happened.
The units are still in exactly the same position.
I have been doing this show for over 2 months 8 shows and week and haven't had any problems with these units untill I updated the software today. Then both of them showed the same problem, I tried resetting the units before updating the presets but it didn't help.
Anyone have any idea why this might of happened? The only thing I can think is that maybe this software has a slightly different fixture profile for the VL 1000 AS but this seems very unlikely.
