Eos failed to boot completely (froze) three times this morning, before finally completing sync with the Master (RPU).
The first time, it was syncing when a dialogue box appeared and froze the progress. "The instruction at "0x008ce60a" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could.... Click on OK to terminate the program. (I took a picture of the dialogue box, but didn't get the whole box)
Second time, turned on Eos, went through start-up cycle to Sync display scroll until "Process
sing Stage Data", then it froze.After waiting a couple of minutes in that state, I did a hard shut down (press and hold the blue button".
Third time, synchronizing with Master- made it to "Applying show data... then froze. I shut Eos down again.
After the third freeze and shutdown, I went to the Ion onstage and started it, so I could get some lights on for the crew working onstage. The Ion synced properly.
On the fourth try, the Eos booted and synced with RPU.
Two other times recently, Eos has failed to complete sync on the first try. Both of these times, it succeeded on the second try.
Current system setup for rehearsal is: RPU master, Eos backup, Ion client, RVI client. The RVI was not on at the time of startup.
