Magic Sheet - Focus Palette

I am trying to setup a Magic Sheet. I was able to setup Group buttons OK, with the text on in Field 1 pulling from the Target Name. When I view the Magic SHeet in button, the label on each button properly shows the button target group name.

However, I can't get Focus Palettes to do the same thing. It just says "FP" as the button label in live, rather than the Focus Palette's label. If I press {Focus Palette}{Focus Palette} I see that my Focus palettes do in fact have labels.

How do I get those labels to appear on the buttons? I'm trying to avoid the situation where if I re-label a Focus Palette I don't want to have to go into the Magic Sheet editor and change it there as well.

  • Select one of the Fields for the button to be Label, then configure for text size/attributes and position on the button.  Note that when configuring the fields inside an object you need to have selected the "Fields" white box with 4 red dots inside.  That's for internal placement of information.  If that Fields box shows a dotted square with the red dots external, that's how you place info. on the outside of the object.

I have my Magic Sheet FP buttons as Target Name in upper left of the button, so I see "FP".  In the upper right I have Target ID, which is the FP number, then the middle of the button has the Label.  These are all fields in or surrounding the button.
