Paint Peeled Off!

I am having this on our GIOs in both buildings.  That black rubber coating does not hold up at all.  We have chips from watches, and chairs bumps too.  I think the edge may need to be changed to another material. I have had to put electrical tape on the edge to try and protect it.

This is the case on our EOS as well, except for us it wasn't due to tape.  We have a large patch of paint missing on the curve right under the GO button from board op's hands resting there.  The paint had bubbled up and has since flaked off.  Not an issue but it does seem like this should last longer.

Had this on our EOS a few years ago.  Not helped by programmers continuing the peeling during long tech sessions.  We solved it by removing and "upholstering*" the curved armrest.

Yup.  Our GIO is not a year old yet and the paint is chipping like crazy.

ETC was nice enough to send us a replacement nose piece.  We also started using electrical tape to protection sections that seem to get damaged very easily.
