Colorpaletten

translation: "does anybody know how to record colors from a gobo wheel to a color palette? at the moment i can only record them as presets."

It's an interesting question, since some fixtures can have colors loaded into their gobo wheels, and vice versa.  I suspect that there are 2 ways to deal with it.

If the wheel is mixed - some color, some gobo, it should be treated as either a color or gobo wheel - that way, there's no confusion about which palettes reference the slots on the wheel, or how control is handled.

If the wheel is solid, just change the kind of wheel it is.  For example, if you swapped all the gobos on the VL2000 Spot fixed gobo wheel to colors, create a custom unit where that wheel is changed to a second color wheel.
