Touch screen monitors for ETC Gio

Hi all on Forum...Our theater is purchasing ETC Gio and Ion consoles to replace our old Strand 530i/520i system. We'd like to purchase a couple of 22" touch screen monitors and I've seen several "approved" monitors on the Knowledge base lists. I'm looking at a Dell ST 2220 T monitor that seems to have the correct numbers:

* Support native Win7 multi-touch. (plug & play) * Support single-touch (mouse behavior) in Vista. (Need to install touch screen driver. Please find the touch screen driver for Vista in the CD) * Supports Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems only

Does anyone know if this screen is compatible? Any other suggestions for a low-cost (under) $500 monitor that works with Gio?

It is not compatible with either the Gio or Ion, unfortunately. However, you could run this on a Client PC to either console, as it will have the drivers or ability to load the drivers.

This will work now with the Gio, but not the Ion currently.

Actually, the Dell monitor should be compatible with Gio as long as it is natively supported in Windows 7 (that is, no additional drivers should be required). It would not be supported by Ion in any case.

Keep in mind that Ion and Gio have different requirements for touchscreens.
