Littlites on Gio

Love the new GIO, great addition to our EOS, Ion, RVR set up. I'm wondering what the thought was with the GIO littlites? Nice 90 degree light but it installs sideways to the outside of the board and always wants to flop over and lay flat. Anyone re-wire the light so it points up and over?

maybe because with the backlit buttons you rather need the littlites sideways to read the script rather than lighting the keyboard ;)

We did rewire ours. In the base of the littlite is a tiny screw. If you undo it you can then pull the XLR pins out and turn them 90 degrees and put the screw in the new hole. They are designed to do this and they work great over the top of the screens. Just one note, if you lower the screens down the necks of the littlites can rub.
