faders on Ion w/ LED

Hey,

I have a, possibly, dumb question about the Ion/Eos programming. What I want to do is put individual colors from an LED fixture (red, green, blue) onto a fader handle so I can bring up Red, green, Blue individually from a fader on the fader wing. I know how to record subs etc but have been running into a problem.

The problem I have is that when I record the sub it records both the "Red" parameter and the "saturation" parameter, so if I have the sub at 50%, saturation is also at 50% which means I am not getting a true red (because it gets closer to white).

I'm sure there is a simple solution, any help?

When recording the sub, press down (ION only) the encoder wheel to select only that parameter.

[#] {Red} [Record] [Sub] [#] [Enter]

Or while the fixture is selected you can touch any of the tiles in the filters section (not sure what this is called when it is used to selest) of the CIA to select that specific parameter only.

If you accidentally have other parts of the fixture selected you can go into blind, and select the fixtures making everything but the parameter you want null.
