Is there a way to send raw UDP packets instead of ASCII string when byte padding is needed in the case of the OSC Protocol?
Thanks,
Stew

There is a pc tool called UDP Test Tool. It lets you view the information in multiple formats as well as test your string sending and receiving. I will cation you. EOS family is very specific in the information it wants to hear. This tool should help you translate your info to ASCII.
Understood. I have used this tool before but I am unable find a way in EOS Family software to send Hex 00 (null) using ascii send string tools available due to the fact a space in ASCII is 20 in Hex.
This byte padding is needed to produce OSC protocol data.

Hi Stew,
The ability for Eos Family software to handle OSC natively is on the list - currently targeted for the next major release. So, we will handle all the padding and packet formatting soon... :)
Hey Chris,
I was wondering if there was any more info on the integration of OSC.

Hey ETC,
just saw this and am looking to do the same thing, any news on OSC support?
thanks!
Hi both. OSC will be in 2.3 due to release later this year. We MAY put out a "beta" version - earlier with 2.2 (due to release in a couple of months).
Thanks much!
