GIO - Fade time override?

Hi Guys,

I come from a Congo background having used that desk for quite a while and moving over to the EOS systems has a lot of benefits in comparison, but one thing I have not yet discovered is if there is a way to override the speed of a fading cue whilst the cue is in action. On the full-size congo, you would use the springy things above the go button, but is there a way to do something similar with EOS? If not, is it something that could be introduced? I understand hardware may be an issue there but was just racking my brain.

    The closest think you get is probably the Rate button. Press it (it's just above the left hand wheel), it turns green. Turn the wheel upwards to accelerate your cue, or down to make it go slower (I think. Not in front of a console right now). The rate is measured in %, 100% is regular speed. You can see the current rate at the bottom of the playback status display or in the section of the screen just above the main fader pair.
