zoom and magic sheets

Today, I updated my Ion from 1.9.11 to 2.0.1.   I noticed something that struck me as odd.  When I am on the Live Channel tab, in any Flexi mode, I can not zoom the display.  Format + Level wheel, and Left-click scroll wheel do not zoom the display.  The same applies if I use format to go to Live Table.  All other tabs seem to zoom as they are supposed to.  

 

When using Direct Selects and Magic Sheets, can sneak be used?  I was reading the manual, and there was a note about using sneak with direct selects but it confused me a little bit.   

[Chan][2][Sneak]<Time>[2]{Intensity Palette 3}   

That syntax is used when clicking on a direct select?  Does this also apply to using Magic Sheets.

 

Also I noticed that the Console sounds turned on after the update.

  • the thing with the zoom is strange. i'm not aware that anything would have changed. if you were only stuck when in summary view (aka tombstones) then it could be that you have 100 Channel Display enabled in setup, but live table is independent from that. i think i was stuck once as well, on an ion. i did a deep clear (Shell > Maintenance) and it was fine again. (but make sure that you don't have any unsaved changes in your showfile).

    magic sheets will post everything you do to the command line, just like all other operations too. so if you press a direct select for {IntPal 3} or if you use the keys on the facepanel [IntPal][3] or if you click (or touch) on a magic sheet object that represents IntPal 3, all it will do is post "Intensity Palette 3" to the command line. so, yes, the same syntax can be used for a magic sheet as well.

    sounds are under Setup > Desk > Face Panel > Turn Sounds Off

    100 channel display is disabled.

    I'll try a deep clear and see what that does for my zoom issue.
