Select partition macro

could it be, that you tried it by writing the macro instead of learning it? i couldn't do it by writing, because the softkey Partition translates as List_partition and the command line then uses that to set a partition for a cue list... strange...

i learned the macro and then cleaned it up until there was nothing left but "Partition 3 * " and then it worked...

if it still doesn't work, can you be a bit more specific with what exactly goes wrong?

i just found my mistake. there are two different softkeys called Partition (since version 2.0.1). the one you want is (in the macro edit mode) softkey 5 in the top row of the 7th page. i'm running a beta which is newer than your version, so i'm not quite certain, that the softkey is still in the same place, but if not it should be close.

i tried again and it works now both with learning and with writing the macro, so you would have to explain what's going wrong please

I figured out how to "clean up" and now it works like a charm.
