copy values from one channel to another through an entire cuelist

Hi

I have had to put up an extra light that has to match one of the others channels all the way through a show.

My guess was: "channel 1 copy to channel 2 cue 1 thru 300"

But it is not working

Corey,

I think I missed something here. He said he "added a light", couldn't he simply patch it into an existing channel?

He could patch into an existing channel, but if he wanted independent control, or to stretch an effect across the extra light it would need it's own channel.
