Hi
I have had to put up an extra light that has to match one of the others channels all the way through a show.
My guess was: "channel 1 copy to channel 2 cue 1 thru 300"
But it is not working

Cue 1 thru 300 <ENTER>
Channel 1 copy to Channel 2 <ENTER>
to make sure your new channel is doing the same not only in the cues, but also is put into the same groups as the old channel as well as in all presets and has the same curve and other patch properties, you could use
Patch
Chan 1 [CopyTo] 2 {Plus Show} Enter
This looks interesting, could you explain a little more about what's going on here? Especially {Plus Show}
{Plus Show} is a modifier to the copy command that automagically adds the channel to any record target that contains the source channel. So if channel 1 was in some groups, palettes, presets, or subs, the new channel would also be added to those targets.
The other modifiers are {Only Show} which excludes the patch, and {Only Text} which copies the notes and keyword info about the channel.
