Martin Mac Viper

Hi Stacy,

There have been about 3 versions of the Mac Viper Perf profile.

I believe the correct version is now in Build 19 of the fixture library update file which can be found on the EOS download page.

This also included both Mac Viper Washes. I don't think the Air FX has been created yet.

I didn't think they had done the Air FX but then I found one in the patch and it looked close enough, LOL

I've been prepping with a Viper Performance and Viper Wash DX today, and found quite a few quirks with the latest fixture profile.

Performance

Zoom is inverted (Narrowest is reading 44deg)

Iris is inverted/Home position incorrect - can't remember which way round I found this

Animation Wheel Macros are not hitting the correct values

Wash DX

Barndoor Assembly isn't homed at 0 - homes at 90deg

Hi Warren,

Can you confirm which library build that you are running?  Just want to make sure it's at least build 18 of 9.1.0.

Hey,

I've finally got round to playing with a Mac Viper Performance and I'm having the same trouble. I've made sure and re-installed the latest fixture library build 29 but my fixtures are strobing and playing up.

After looking at the Manual for the fixture the fixture personality looks completely wrong?

Anyone got a fixture personality that I could borrow?

UPDATE: Turns out I'm being an idiot. I didn't click the update fixtures button when in the edit area of the fixture library found through patch.

I have a profile which I made if you're still looking for one?

It is being used currently and does work but obviously doesn't  have all the useful features with Gobo modes etc. Give me a shout if you require it and i'll send you a show file with it in.
