Has anyone tried running the Eos Client Software on a Surface Tablet?

I have been a bit disappointed with the usability of the Ipad/ipad programs, specifically not having magic sheets or any way to access the customized aspects of the boards, and was wondering if anyone has tried running the client on a Surface Pro tablet.

If so:

How did it run? (Any crashes, errors, bugs, hangs, etc...)

How did the multi-touch work? (Do you need to use a stylus to hit any small menus or is it navigable by touch?)

Were magic sheets smooth and were direct selects easy to use?

Was the wifi strong and does it work persistently through screen shutoff? (unlike the ipad)

The Surface Pro seems like a very strong tool and isn't much more than an Ipad for the usability you potentially gain.  I'm eager to hear if anyone has any experience with it.

  • I'm using it with my Surface pro (8.1) and it works really really fine. Im loving it! I only had to download the dongle driver for win8...  now it works fine over wifi..is stabil and the multitouch works fine (ms&ds)! Even with your fingers..

That's really awesome and exactly what I wanted to hear.  Some questions though: Are you able zoom in and out with multi-touch on Magic Sheets?  When you power the screen off does it maintain connection as opposed to the ipad dropping when the screen shuts off?  Also, I was thinking of creating a magic sheet with the 10key and some other command wing selects, have you done anything similar?
