I'm running ION 2.0.1 with net 3 running around the space. I have two gateways in two different positions outputting my second universe. I've found that upon powering up the PSUs for the CXI ITs any number of my 12 scrollers reset themselves to factory settings including readdressing themselves to address 1. This means dimmer check must be done in space with more than enough time to find out whether or not the scrollers need to be addressed. Of course the scrollers are difficult to get to and need either a ladder or lift.
Its quite a problem. Initially I thought the RDM was getting in the way during startup, so I disabled it. No difference in how the scrollers boot up.
RDM would help addressing the scrollers remotely, but now refuses to find any of the scrollers or PSUs as online. RDM also refuses to find all the scrollers in the air.
Right now the work around is disabling DMX through GCE on the gateways until after the scrollers go through their start up, then enabling the gateways. This was working, but now is not.
I don't want to leave the full system on until the run of the show is complete.
Any ideas or help would be much appreciated.
