trigger cue stacks from magic sheet

I had a quick look messing around but haven't tried to delve in to this question too far myself but thought I would throw it out there.

Is there a way to use a magic sheet button to trigger cue stacks (especially when the fader page wasn't currently active)?

Figure you're running a show on an Ion and don't have a fader wing attached, using a magic sheet can you be activating cue stacks along with the main playback?  In my head you would assign a cue stack to a fader that isn't the active page, and have a macro linked to the magic sheet button that activates the cue stack.

If this is not currently possible is this something we can look at?

  • What I was going for was mimicking something like the executor keys on the MA, something that can be used to trigger a cue stack without taking up too much real estate.  After messing around in offline it seems to work perfectly fine, assigning a cue stack to to a fader and having a macro trigger the go button.

I was actually surprised that it did work.  I was assuming the macro was going to pick up on the go button trigger for the fader itself and not the cue stack attached to the fader, so I figured it would not have worked unless the fader page was open and at the right fader page.
