Pixel Mapping with COLORband PiX

I just purchased 4 Chauvet COLORband PiX fixtures, and I am having trouble adding them for pixel mapping. The first thing, since it's not in the library as a fixture so I used the COLORband TRI as a fixture since it has the same properties. It will work in 7ch mode but not in 36ch mode. You'll want to map the pixels as individual RGB units. Even if 36 channel mode worked - they would all be on the same pixel no?

I believe that there are 12 pixels with 3 LEDs per pixel, the Red, Green and Blue. In 36 channel mode, I should have the ability to control each LED, although I am still trying to figure out how to do that with the ION.

My advice would be to patch the unit as 12 separate RGB units. That will give you full control of each controllable light - make console based effects better, make pixel maps easier to create, etc.

If you need to keep it as 1 fixture you can build just the pixel map as 12 individual pixels by creating 12 RGB units on the map and assigning them by address instead of channel number.
