Gio monitors stuck.

Hello all

Recently our Gio monitor panel has become rather stiff when lifting or lowering it. It has now become so stiff that we are reluctant to lower it again as we feel it may not come back up. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Cheers

  • Hi Drew,

A problem with the Gio piston is definitely something that shouldn't be happening -- that console wants to come back in for repair. There is a hydraulic piston and hydraulic actuator involved in that display panel - if one of them is having an issue, you can see behavior similar to what you're describing. Give a call in to your favorite ETC dealer, or give us a call in Tech Support at 800-688-4116 and we can talk through the RMA process.

    Sorry for the issues!
