Copy Palettes from one channel to others in same type of device

Hi all;

Does it have any possile way to copy IP,FP,CP & BP from one channel or a group of channels to new created device channels?

For example;

PATCH Format

CH [ 1 to 5 ] type { studio color 250 } AT address [ 2/1 to 2/...]  as Group 1 and recorded some sort of color palettes such as CP1,CP2 & CP3.

Next, if I patch CH [ 6 to 8 ] type { studio color 250 } AT address [ 3/1 to 3/..] as Group 2.

How can I use CP1 in Group 2 of channels?

  • There are a variety of ways, but I would suggest:

    [Blind] [Color Palette 1 Thru 100]

    This will but you in color palette blind, with palettes 1 > 100 selected. All changes you make will now affect all of your selected palettes.

    [Chan 1 CopyTo 6 Thru 8].

    This will copy channel 1's levels into channels 6 thru 8, in all of your color palettes 1 thru 100.

    Thanks Dan.... and Kelvin, one of the key features for v1.4 is global and by device type palettes.  So, for certain types of palettes, it will not be necessary to have discrete channel information stored in the palette.
