Chauvet Legend 300E Spot Profile is incorrect

I have noticed a problem for a while and am now finally able to dig deep into this profile.  Chauvet Legend 300E Spot (M1 and M2) have had a problem with the Prism, labeled Beam FX Select and Index/Speed.  The fixture itself has and OPEN(no Prism), Prism IN, and 28 Gobo/Prism Macros.  But the profile only has Prism OPEN or IN and the in is putting it at 255, which is macro 28.  Also the speed parameter was set to Snap and it shouldn't be as you won't be able to control the speed for the regular Prism IN function.  Can this profile be edited to the following for a future library update:

Beam FX Select     -   SNAP ENABLED

 000-007 - NORMAL

 008-127 - Prism

128-255 - Prism Macros (I don't think there should be 28 different buttons, or maybe this shouldn't be added at all?) ( I do have all the macros written down if needed as Chauvet doesn't provide them in the manuals)

Beam FX Index/Speed    -    SNAP DISABLED

the current ranges are fine in this one, it's just the snap issue.

These would be for M1 and M2 profiles.

  • Would be able to post the manuals that you compared the profile with?

The manuals that I just downloaded from the Chauvet website match our personalities.

Edit:  The features for Prism that you are talking about are for the Legend 300E Beam fixture.

  • The manual does say exactly what the profile says, but Chauvet doesn't clarify the settings I found in testing the fixture.  I know you guys can't test every fixture, so that's what I've done.  The way you have it now, the prism goes to the 28th prism macro and there is no control of it at all.
