Is this a new keyboard layout for the Gio?
But seriously, how do I swap these key caps? I don't have a key cap puller with me, and they don't pop off like the Eos & Ion key caps. I am currently working in Beijing, China.

Yeah, we tried prying them off, but they didn't pop off easily, & I didn't want to break a brand new desk. I wasn't around when it was uncrated, and I doubt that our Chinese counterparts did this when they opened it.
Yes, it is possible. You will feel like you're going to break something in the process -- they have high retention. Check out this keycap upgrade kit guide, which should help. 5148.Gio Keycap Upgrade Kit - 1.9.11.pdf
Note that there is one additional step not included (as the replacement keycaps already had this done) -- when you have removed the white plunger, reseat it in the keycap, THEN firmly push it back into the keyboard. If you don't do that, it will sit a bit higher than the rest of the keys on the keyboard.
