status Auto-Block Clean Up?

As I day by day grow older, I have started to read the release-notes more thoroughly,  ;-)

 - and I’m impressed of what’s already done.

I have a little question though, as I found the command on an very early version too; but it isn’t working (in 1.3.1 "offline" either), and it’s not on the “known issues remaining” list:

What is status on the: “[Utilities]-[Auto-Block Clean Up]” -command?  - I think it’s a great idea! ( as in "soon, - please" )

  • Wow.... I'm so impressed.  I didn't think ANYBODY read the release note!  We are hoping to get the "auto-block" cleanup utility into a release sometime this year.   Probably in the release following 1.4.

Nice to hear from you!  I wanted to assure you that you can upgrade to 1.3.1 without any fear for your current show!   :-)

  • Hi again (Anne), I am still missing the very usefull Auto-Block Clean Up feature.

( - every day,  -  I may be the only one in the whole wide universe, but still...    )

Is it still "on top" of the list?

    - other; all is well !

  • You are the MOST patient man on the planet ever!!!!  This actually has been in every spec for the past couple of years .... but seems to get postponed because of more critical issues. it is noted as High Priority for 2.0 (creeping ever higher on the must do list) - and no, it's not just you alone in the whole wide universe.  Our TV users are really wanting this feature as well.

Thank you so very much for your patience.  But please don't ask me when 2.0 will be available.... because I will be forced to use those marketing weasel words again.   But since we are currently at 1.9.6, you can see it on the horizon!!  :-)

  • so, we're at version 2.0.1, and still we're without Auto-Block clean-up (or a disable) feature.

Just checking to see if this is still true or not.  (running 2.0)

  • Andrew auto-block clean is now in. I think it added in 2.0.1 but you can check in 2.0.

It no longer sits in the browse as it did in earlier versions (then it didn't do anything).

In live to can clean the whole cuelist. [Cue] [1] [/] {AutoBlk Clean} (new softkey) [Enter].

If you go into cuelist index by double hitting [Cue] you can then select a range of cues. Again you first need to select the cuelist.

You can't disable auto blocks and I'm not sure that is going to change. They are helpful 50% of the time!

Version 2.0.1 was mainly for bug fixtures but a few little feature which were easy but kept getting bumped off the list made it in!
