Windows XP vs 7

Probably a dumb question but since Windows reportedly will no longer be supporting or updating WindowsXP later this year is there any talk about converting any of the embedded XP consoles to 7?

About the only reason I could see doing this would be to support newer types of hardware - I.E. different resolution and new versions of multi-touch and other touch screens. Other then that I have zero interaction with the underlying Win XP OS, it doesn't need or get MS updates, I don't call MS for support, I call ETC. Not sure what OS Obsession used but did that console get the embedded OS updates ?.

Oh, and maybe support for solid state HD's.
