Having a little trouble getting our Ion to properly drive Screen Monkey...
found the profile OK (after it was pointed out to me) and patching to channels on a spare universe (3) went without hitch. Connecting the desk via our network router to the PC running SM also went OK, and SM shows receipt of ArtNet and DMX as green.
should be said that the Ion profile is for SM ver 3.6, whilst the actual SM current version is 3.7. I am waiting feedback from the programmer of SM as to whether there are any major programming differences between the revs, but am not expecting a huge change...
Enabled the ArtNet on DMX universe 3 and went back to live and can sort of get a response when driving the personality from the Ion. I can set it to DMX control using the master channel and I sort of select clips using that personality option but can't get them to run properly if they run at all. More oft than not they seem to 'stick' - seeming to hover between the clip and a clear screen, so never actually getting going...
as with most things I'm sure this will be a simple issue, but it's not one I can see at the moment.
any thoughts??
