I am definitely the slowest, most uncomprehendable lighting console person on this planet. Is there a word uncomprehendable?
Anyway, just wanted to say this: I recently purchased a lap top program to run small events that don't call for my custom ginormous road case and ION with 60 handle wings and two monitors. One great example was a small event using a few battery led's on a cruise line. Laptop definitely fit the mold.
However I have been having problems learning the laptop program. Mostly me and that uncompre...... word. There are people on the forum for that program that say they hate the ION and love that program. Well of course to each his own and that's understandable HOWEVER even with my stupidy I can say this: the very first day I received my ION and put it to use I was up and running a pretty large cue list theatrical production. That very same day!!!! To many of you that's not a big deal, but remember who I say I am. :-)
Do I have problems once in a while with ION and the two Elements I run? Who doesn't with any console. But many kudos for ION (EOS family) and ETC who listens and fixes to the best of their ability.
