Chase of colors and position

Hi!

How can I get a chase  of colors/ position/ beam with rate associated to a fader?

Normally in a Grand MA I just need to create a cue list and then change it to chase.

Cue 1 - All Fixtures Red

Cue 2 - All Fixtures Yellow

Change it to Chaser

Assign another executor to control the Rate.

The same concept it s applicable to position chases.

Cue 1 - Position One

Cue 2 - Position Two

Cue 3 - Position Three

It seems to be on step based effects but I am only able to control dimmer.

Best Regards

  • Rafael,

You could achieve this by utilizing step based effects or absolute effects.  Color palettes, focus palettes, etc. can be entered in place of intensity.  I would probably recommend using an absolute effect here and making step 1 your red color palette, and step 2 your yellow color palette.

Then simply assign this effect to whichever channels you would like included and record to a sub. You can then make that sub an effect sub if you want to trigger it via the bump button.

  • Thanks Mark!

I already done it using absolute effects and change it to groups of 1.

Not shure how to do it in step based, probably using pallets in the OffState Tab.

But never feels natural. The effect starts in the red color and goes to yellow color (the rate time is respected) but then stops like a second and them reverse from red to yellow. The same for position effects.

The cycle time  should affect everything.

By the way, I have some Robe DLS and can t find a way to control the speed of my rotating gobos.

There s M/ SPeed and others but nothing affect them speed.

    Cheers and thanks a lot
