syntax to select channels that are above or below a particular percentage

Is there a syntax to allow the selection of channels that are above or below a particular percentage?

i.e. select all channels that are above 50%.

that would probably be a task for Query but query can't do ranges yet. Query Intens 50 thru 100. doesn't trigger an error message but only selects Intens 50 and ignores the range... so no, i don't know how...
