Ion unpatching

Hi,

Had a quick search of the forum and couldn't find anything similar so here goes.

Has anyone had any experience of a patch corrupting on the Ion? This week we've had Mac Entours unpatching themselves, as in there being no address against the channel, and in a matinee this afternoon the same happened with six scrollers. The fixtures are still there as are their channels, but the address field is now blank.

My next step is to carry out a deep clear once the show comes down but any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Ion spontaneously changing the patch is a new one. It's far more likely that some sort of human interaction is having unforeseen consequences.

Getting the log files to ETC Support would go a long way to understanding what is happening. It would also help to know what version you a running.

Hi

Having had a chance to get my hands on the desk at last (I'm not LD or Op this week) it appears that your assumption that it was *cough* human interaction is indeed correct!
