Marking on Automark

Hello guys,

I have a question about Automark. Usually this is my choice when setting a show, but in some specific cues I would like to be able to disable a BLOCK (Which I know I can do with {AutoMark Off} from the Softkeys), but also I would like to be able to give specific Mark Times to some Cues or even being able to Change the AutoMark (move the mark few cues before).

Am I able to do so with "AutoMark"?

Thanks

  • Unfortunately no, you're not able to achieve this with just Automark.

You have a few options though--

You can change the Global Mark time in Setup. It's under Show Settings.

You could just change the NP times of the specific cue that you want to mark faster. Just keep pressing [time] until you get the appropriate parameter category.

If it is just a specific channel you can do so using discrete time. So if the light comes up in Cue 5, and it marks in Cue 4 you would want to select the channels whilst in Cue 5 and give their NPs discrete time in Cue 5. Once you update the cue, you would see the discrete timing flags appear in Cue 4.

If you wanted a channel to mark earlier in the show, Automark isn't the way to do this. However many people prefer to use Automark to begin their show, then disable it and use reference marking to move the marks around in the cue structure. I'd just check out the manual about reference marking if you have questions--

    Hope this helps.
