Eos Offline (PC) not saving or opening .esf show files

I've seen some comments about struggles with Eos Offline, but nothing quite on this point.

I recently installed the V 2.1.0 Eos Offline editor on my PC Desktop away from work, and am encountering problems opening the show files saved from the Ion we use at work. When I attempt to open these files off of a flash drive I get a "Failed! Show File Error: Unable to open file" message. This occurs when i select any of the .esf files, on both my home Desktop and Laptop. Also, When attempting to save from the offline editor, a message similar appears telling me that the save failed.

Please help me.

If it helps any, I just tried opening and saving on my home PC (Win 7 Pro) that has OLE v2.1.1. both to and from a USB drive, as well as to and from the local Google Drive folder, that has all my work files.

Had no issues, so possibly your version of OLE has gone bad ?, maybe dump and re-install ?.

Try copying the files off the thumbdrive outside of OLE. If it fails it might give you more information. Maybe it's a permissions problem, or antivirus, or your PC doesn't like the thumbdrive or...
