Updates on a Partitioned System

Running 1.3.1, 1 RPU as Master, 2 Eos as Clients. If the system is partitioned and we both have manual values and I hit update, sometimes his data gets updated into my cue or visaversa even though we both don't have ownership of each others channels. It is even reflected in the update display, channels you don't have ownership of will appear when you push update if the other user/console has manual values. Um... not so much. What's the deal?
  • I can't reproduce this. When I try it, the update display only includes channels within my partition, and only those channels are updated. If you see it again and have any more info, let us know.

I see the same thing as Badger~Man.  I see both users possible updates in my "Update" window, when I do update though the stuff in my partition is the only stuff updated....  Is repeatable everytime on that MASK showfile you have...

    Cheers.

  • I can reproduce this now, but only with effects. If there are any manual effects running and you use [update enter], the manual effects will be included in your update, even if they are outside of your partition. They will be updated to whatever cue is in their background though, so they will not move into your cuelist, unless there is only one cue list active.

This is also true for other non-level manual changes like discrete times, and blocks made in live (anything that is displayed in red in live that is not a level), but it is not possible for these other changes to add anything to your cuelist. This will be fixed in the next release.
