Ed, are you using Magic Sheets?

Sometimes you don't notice that the display focus has shifted over to the MS so flexi won't work until you return focus back to Tab 1.

no magic sheets in use. 

after reading Nicks post about MS i went to console and am guess it is behaving as expected.

If i am in a tab, say color picker, and i type {channel} 1 [Enter] it keeps focus on the color picker tab so touching Flexi does not change view.  I am guessing this is correct......
