I've got a strange little occasional glitch occurring when using a touch screen and "direct selects". I've got "direct selects" set up as a full screen tab on my touch screen. The top bank of selects is a page of "groups" and the bottom bank is a page giving me direct access to individual channels. This works correctly most of the time, but every so often when I select a group rather than the channels associated with the group being activated, only the single channel corresponding to the number of the group is activated. eg:- I select "group 21" from the touch screen and channel 21 becomes live rather than the moving lights assigned to group 21 (for the sake of clarity, the problem can occur on any group, not just group 21). The frequency of the issue is a bit hard to gauge, but is probably about 1 in 20.
The desk is a hired one, running 2.0.1. Has anybody else ever experienced this. I'm thinking about upgrading the software to 2.1.2 to see if this fixes it, but the only opportunity I will have to do this is just before plotting starts on Monday which could be a problem if something goes wrong with the upgrade (not that it ever has before). It's also possible that the problem is actually the touch screen. Although the groups tabs and channel tabs are several inches apart on the screen, the layout means that the corresponding numbers are in the same vertical column so I don't know if the screen has a momentary calibration issue or something. The problem hasn't seemed to manifest itself if I use the mouse to select the group, but that rather defeats the point of having a touch screen.
