Live and Blind Displays at the same time

Question 1:

I very much doubt that's going to happen. When you switch to Blind you are essentially in a different operating mode and the idea of being in 2 different modes at one time could be very confusing and dangerous. Do your key presses impact Live or Blind in this case?

Question 2:

The Backup is still a backup if that makes sense so it can't be backed up again. It just switches to be the Master whcih means it outputs to the rig instead of the Primary. I'm not quite sure why you would want to do this. The Backup should only ever take over in extreme situations not day-to-day use. You can restore control to the Primary if you need to.

Thanks for your help. The thing about Live and Blind is that it would be nice to be able to fire cues in live (which you can do at the moment) and see the Live channel display (see the live changes on channel parameters) while you are doing some changes in Blind. Although you would be in Blind mode, you could actually see what is happening in Live.

The problem when the backup takes control is that if the Primary console starts again as Primary and takes control again, there is a virtual Black Out on stage while the Primary is taking control of the backup (I guess this happens because if you start the Primary, this console is not tracking the show, so it needs a second or so to take control of it)

I think, the blackout when restoring control to the master was a bug and has been eliminated in 2.1...
