I'm not sure if this is a question or a request, but I've noticed something that's a pain sometimes. Channels with parameters set to "always snap" do not snap those parameters during a cue list release.
For example, a VL3000 is recorded into a cue with no gobo. If I run a cue with a 3 count in another cuelist which changes the color and puts the Tribal gobo in, it will fade in the color and snap in the gobo, as expected. However, if I release the cuelist, all parameters will fade back to the underlying cue in the release time, including the gobo channel. With a release time of 3, the fixture will go to Night Sky about 1 second in, to Alpha Rays about 2 seconds in, and finally to open when the color fade finishes.
Shouldn't "always snap" parameters, well, always snap? Is this a setup thing?
