Hi all.
I am currently touring a show around the UK with 5 TW1s and an Ion running v2.1.2.
2 of these are rigged FOH, usually on boom arms off a slip position so the boom arms point stage left to right. However on my move this week, there was no where suitable to rig as such, so we put them on their side slip bars which run down to upstage in orientation - making them offset by 90 degrees.
This meant when I homed them that the pointed into the walls of the slips.
I created two copies of the TW1 fixture and labelled them TW1 side rigged SR and SL. In these I edited the home value of the pan so it was back to it's usual position.
I then updated all the ML positions as usual, did the relight, tech and 1st night on the board myself and all was fine, followed by notes after the show & desk was powered down.
I then left as usual, so the resident crew were op'ing the show from Wednesday. Despite using the same show file from the night before (which I have checked by comparing their latest file to the one I took home with me after the 1st show & notes), and the home values of the pan being what I had set, they were now pointing back at their original 'pointing-at-the-walls-of-FOH' 90 degrees out position and every 80 of the presets are also 90 degrees out.
I have spent all morning with them over the phone making sure the TW1s work (they do) and it finally dawned on me to check the new home positions of the FOH TW1s. These were still as I had set them, so we had to create new ones (with values significantly different to how I'd set them) which has temporarily solved the problem. I've told them to leave the desk on all week and I'll look at this next week.
Any ideas as to what may have caused this?! Because I am out of ideas!
