Controlling Outputs on the Remote

OK, I remember that this topic was touched on very recently, but I can't find the thread now.  It asked how one can bring up a dimmer on the RFU.  The answer was that you do it in the Park screen.  That info is much more valuable to me now since we received the RFU's today (YEA!).  While it is true and useful to Park an address,  I can't seem to figure out how to UNpark it.  Help, anyone..?

As a tangent,  does anyone else find it just a little tedious to bring up dimmers on all/any of these devices?  I use it all the time.  Any time in tech week, if a channel doesn't up, my immediate response is bring it up by Dimmer to determine if it's a burnout or Patch prob (and there are always patch probs).  Most of these instances occur on the Designer Remotes or the RFU so now my response is "Where is the Bleepin Hotkey for More SKs"  (what is it? Shift F7?)  Yes, I know that 1.3.1 has the hard macro buttons, but that hasn't helped me on the OLE or ION yet.  I'm just sayin'..  It makes me feel old growing up with a Dimmer button that seemed like a neccessity, then having it fazed out.

PS, if I had my druthers, an address would park by default so it would not pop back off when I entered a new command.

Thanks and please pardon the mini rant,

  • So, with the radio remote, when you park an address then hit next or last or use the thumbwheel and hit clear, it will un-park it. It will stayed parked if you only park 1 address, then hit clear. Does that make sense? It is just something else to get used to.

On my own side note, I just focused 20 lights in the AP position, and didnt have to go back to the console once! Thanks Radio Remote!
