No Bootable device

I just got an ION 1000 back from repair and I turned it in on it says " no bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key" I plug a thumb drive into the usb with the software on it and it enter and nothing happens.

Ideas?

Did you get this back from ETC or a dealer repair? ETC Tech Support should be able to get you an imaged thumb drive to reimage the console. Otherwise all factory repairs have a warranty period on them.

Another possibility is that something came loose during transport. If the HD isn't connected it won't boot!

Call your dealer or ETC to have someone open the case and check it out.
